Hi all, I’ve got a Lawn Boy 22260 in good running condition with the bag assembly and cover plate. The only issues are:

-scuffed paint on the left side of the deck
-the original pull cord has started to fray, but is still usable.
-the latch for the air cleaner has gotten weak so I put a zip tie on it to make stay closed

I’ve seen these sell for all ranges from $500-1000 so I am open to any reasonable offers. Located in the Denver metro and I would prefer not to ship.

Thanks!

I don't even know these mowers and it still looked to me like spray paint and organ donors. Lot of dirty-garage residue on the red paint, none on the silver paint (plus the silver color has that modern glow), and is that a newish-model engine?

Just sent a message to the seller saying we are on to him and suggested he change his listing. Bill

Just received an offer from the seller for $500. I told him thank you anyway.

Hi all! Looking for two cans of Lawnboy oil. They would be the Gen II in the purple and green can as pictured and the all green can that says Ashless 2 Cycle Oil (4th row from the left, top) and both would be 4 ounce. If you have any extra and can spare either send me a PM. Fair price paid. Pictures attached. Bill

Hi everyone, I am looking for a part that I’m missing to complete my 1962 Lawn Boy Quietflite model 5251. I am searching for the choke rod / on- off switch part number:
Lawn-Boy 603454
Rod-Choke
If anyone has an extra they would be willing to sell please reach out to me.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben. Try sending a PM to oldlawnboy (Bill) and maybe lbuser64 (Scott).

Could you fabricate one from some stiff wire? Looks like is attaches to the knob with a small cotter pin but not sure on the other end.

Hey Bill, thanks I will reach out to those guys. I thought about fabricating one and it would be possible but the original has a small “catch” feature that seems to be molded or stamped into the wire that keeps the spring in place. I’m sure I could use a crimp or ferrule type hardware piece to serve this purpose but hoping to find the original part. I recently found another Quietflite parts mower with a badly broken deck and shroud, but unfortunately it’s also missing the original choke rod.

I have an 1992? John Deere SB14 Walk Behind that I'm ready to let go of. (Wife bought me a new Honda)
I bought it new @ James River Equipment in Richmond, VA (where I still am)

Silver Aluminum Deck.
Kawasaki OHV
Runs good, BUT the BBC broke (main bolt broke and local JD dealer wanted too much $$$ for a new BBC).
Includes all the following accessories: Mulch Plug, Side discharge Chute, Bag, AND one of these very handy & EZ to use "Thatcher" attachments!

I have a couple PICs... Can get more...

Anyway, it has been a Great mower for me. I love it and would like to see it continue to please. Any interest??

These next PICs aren't mine, but do show what the "Thatcher" attachment that I have for it, and how it mounts:

I am guessing that there is someone out there in MTF land who owns a Lawnboy Liberty 8234EX and would love to have an owners manual. Here is one on eBay.
