This is slightly out of date, but still a very useable list of mower parts dealers selling used, new-old-stock, reproduction and salvaged parts for older mowers:

Looks like that one just sneaked down to Florida for the winter and got itself a coppertone tan.. :)

Is that a V engine or a Duraforce?

Re: Walkbehind For Sale and Wanted

What's the chances of making a throttle cable? Reuse the cable housing, just replace the wire?
I thought about that!! got tons of throttle cables too!!!

Just straighten one end out, slip it thru and bend it back...

yes it's the one bolt type holder. Thinking of drilling a hole in the handle and using the standard metal holder.. got tons of those too!!!

If anyone has what i need just pm me..

Thanks

8310

Have an 8310 for sale. Here is a link with some good pictures. Old Thread.

Here are a couple new shots. Old pics are better. This is in the back of my shed right now, and didn't want to pull 2 John Deeres and a couple of others things out of the way.

8481

Here's an 8481 that I'd like to sell. Fairly good shape. One of the machine port plugs had fallen out and it ingested some nasty twigs, etc. Piston was shot but cylinder cleaned up pretty good. New piston and rings. I've run it about 1/2 hour since putting the piston in. Still needs some carb adjustment. This has the 5 speed trans, but you have to move washers to adjust the gears.

Yellow dot on the shroud is a sticker from the garage sale where I bought the mower. It's not a primer or hole in the shroud.
