Yes, it made a huge difference on the 45; well worth the investment. Originally, I thought about removing it for jobs other than digging dirt; however, it's extremely handy for leveling rock and all sorts of other things. It's tough enough to stand up to use/abuse, too; after many hours of use, it's still in good shape.

whats the price of those ?

It was also the first addition I made to my Kubota BX. I agree with all the good things said about it. It also makes the bucket just a bit larger. The couple of inches are just enough to really help when hauling odd objects. When you point it down and pull backwards it acts as a rake.

Nice! I am still waiting to try mine out. Of course I still have to drill the holes in the bucket to install it :fing32:

This brings up and interesting thought. How much does each hole in a loader decrease the value of a loader? :dunno:
Many (most?) people seem to want a pristine item when purchasing.

This would apply only to those holes which are not used for permanent installations like hooks.

What are your thoughts?

I'm going to order the Piranha tooth bar this spring. I had a Markham bar that worked really well but sold it to a forum member who needed one for a project when Markham was backordered. I never got around to replacing it, but have a project coming up this spring. Thanks for the reminder. :)

I ordered one yesterday and received confirmation emails. I'll update this when I hear that it has been shipped. At this time of year he may not be able to make them fast enough.

Harry does make quality products, but I'm a little surprised that he hasn't gotten back to you. If he is backlogged, I would think he would let you/us know. I'll give him a few days and then call if either of us don't hear anything about our orders.

You guys are going to love the Piranha tooth bar.

Here are a few pics of my tooth bar and a trench I dug with it last July at my daughter's in gravel and hard dry soil to put in a retaining wall. The piranha works really well.

Larry, it's amazing that you dug that perfect trench with just the toothbar.

Thanks Al. We dug it deep enough to put a layer of new stone on the bottom for the 6x6 timbers to sit on.

Rob, I spoke to Harry this morning. As expected, they are about three weeks behind on tooth bars due to a glut of orders. He said they are making them even better now and he has other employees helping out to ease the backload. I couldn't check on your order without additional information, but he said you can call and they'll be glad to look it up for you.

Coincidentally, mine shipped today. I think they produce the Kubota tooth bars in quantity because they get so many orders for them and several models take the same size. I would agree that yours should be ready very soon.

When you call, Harry told me the guys who answer are better able to look up your order and give you information. He is busy with the manufacturing.
