Ok guys here is the thing. I am in the process of bringing a rough John Deere 317 to close to new looking condition. I built a center blade for a grader next I have an old TC 10 loader, I am going to cut the loader to make it wider, I guess I'm turning it into a TC 12. My Tc 10 is in very good condition now because I rebuilt all the cylinders, repainted it, it was rough, I'm also going to replace all lines. I have a friend who is about ready to cry because I'm cutting it. I told him I would hold off to see if he can find one to fit my tractor. Is there much value to the Tc 10 or doesn't it matter if I change it?

The 10TC fits the Ford LGT series as well as the Jakes, Olivers and White T&Cs.

It would be a real crime to cut up a factory loader. I'd hold out till I found a 12 and bolt it straight on.

If the 10TC is rebuilt as you say, you'd probably get $1500 for it here.

.

May not have a hood on at the moment but this Johnson 10TC is a 4 seater.:sidelaugh

Yes there is value to a 10 TC. What did it come off of?

Re: let's see your front end loader

I have no clue what it come off of, there was no subframe with it. I happened to see it last spring in a guy's Woods ditch. I happened to see it just before the grass grew or it would have been gone for another year. The old guy even forgot about it until I pulled in to talk to him about it. So I wire wheeled it and broke the rust off, primed it and painted it, this wasn't going to be a show piece, it was to be used the dump cyclender were totally shot so we had to cut new shafts and replace all packing. The hoses and piping must still be replaced.

I hope cross posts are not frowned upon as I posted this the other day in the Ariens forum. she's a GT17 with a custom front end loader and power steering added. The architect welded the loader to frame directly.

We all tend to follow just a handful of favorite topics in an otherwise huge forum, so cross posting can be a good thing for those of us who would have otherwise not seen your pics. Everybody loves loaders.:thThumbsU

Too bad the installer never had any bolts at the time. I'd just keep a good eye out for frame cracks.

Legacy in Sweden, think its an 2003 but the loader looks different than the Legacy a few posts earlier. Want a narrow strong and light bucket for stone and gravel, some forks, special beehive lift ..........

Thanks Larry for the advise... will certainly be giving her the once over before putting her to work.
