How to hang suitcase weights on my x748?

Help me spend my money. I have just secured my first four suitcase weights for my x748, just in time for snow removal season. I already have two cast iron wheel weights mounted and plan to add two more once I get longer bolts.

My question is what is my best option for hanging the suitcase weights off the rear? I want to consider ease of use, flexibility, practicality and of course, cost.

I have a cat 1 3ph I haven't tried installing yet since I don't even have a draw bar for it. I also have the Click and go mount that the bagger attaches to. As I understand it both of these have options for hanging weights.

So,what are your thoughts? The tractor will be used with a 47 blower and an OTC cab.

Look on Heavy Hitch's site, he's got many types of drawbar style weight hangers. Put enough stuff back there to do a wheelie.

I really like my Click-N-Go... 6 weights easy on and off and they don't stick out as far as the 3pt

Since you have the Click N Go bracket all ready, I think I would go as Mr. Beef suggested.

Here is what the Heavy Hitch looks like, holds 8 weights and can be used for other things.

No I just have the mount on the tractor. It seems my choices are the click and go weight bar at about $160 or Heavy hitch at $240.

I doubt you will need any more weight on the rear while using a snow blower with 4x4. I don't run any suitcase weights on the back of my x749 pushing a 64" snow pusher. A blower is pretty easy to push around. The rear weight would be more useful when using your loader and for that I would want it hanging on the 3 point to gain more leverage with less suitcase weights.

I think I got the idea to add the ends on the click-n-go from Bruce too. I use 8 suitcase wts./no wheel wts. and last year, no tire chains on my X734.....worked fine. Here is a blurry photo of the finished product, after I painted it....I took Bruce's photos to a guy that builds trailers/welds/fabricates....had him in school....didn't cost me too much. Sending a couple of photos......the tractor photos were 2 years ago....I had the chains on that year.....went without last year. I used to have a 425, all wheel steer, and used 3 suitcase wts../tire chains and wheel weights. If you have 6 suitcase wts., and wheel wts, you may not need the extra 2 suitcase wts/modifying the bracket.

I would get the JD bracket if I were you. You already have the click'n'go brackets installed, that's 1/2 of the system right there. You get a nice mass of weights slung low & close to the rear of the tractor. You can bungee cord the weights together tightly by the handles so they won't rattle.

The JD bracket is simpler and quicker to put on and take off than any other bracket system out there.

I decided to go with the click-n-go bracket. My dealer had them in stock and they are on sale through November so I went down and picked one up. Very well built and easy to use.
