I have 6 old Harley Service Maunals and 2 old triumph Manuals. Any idea what they might be worth and if there is a market for something like these?

I have no clue what they would be worth, but to a collector, it could be that the sky is the limit. Of course on the other side of the same coin, they may not be worth the paper they're printed on. :D

I'd honestly wager that a collector would happily give you a decent price for them. The Harley world is quite large and the Triumph is well known too.

I guess it's like everything else, gotta find the right guy in the right market. They are; Servi Car 1959 1973, Electra Glide-Duo Glide 1959-1969, Electra Glide FL/FLH 1200 Super Glide FX/FXE 1200 1970 to 1977, Sporster XL/XLH/XLCH/XLT-1000 1970-1978, 1991 & 1992 Softail Models, 1997 & 1998 Softail Models.
Chiltons Triumph Repair & Tune-Up Guide 250, 500, 650, 750 models thru 1972
Clymer Publications Triumph Service-repair Handbook 500 - 750 Twins 1963 to 1974.

I recently sold several manuals to some guys that own a shop called Rusty Nuts on Rutherford Rd in Greenville. They specialize in classic bikes and cars and seemed excited to get them. See if they have website and ask them.

Thanks, I'll check it out! I had a Triumph back in the late 60's and early 70's and so did my brother before I got into Harleys.

They have a facebook page but that's all I found. I haven't contacted them yet. Have never sold anything long distance before, have no idea how to go about a safe transaction.

Do a search on Ebay to see what they are bringing. The Harley factory manuals may be worth something but the Chilton's and Clymer's probably aren't worth anything. The Clymer's are probably still available new.

I wish you had one for a Buell Thunderbolt X3... I'd buy it from you!
Sorry, I've twisted the throttle on a Buell a few times but never owned one.
