Hi there! New member here.

Had a X485 for years and loved it. Mowed lots of grass and move plenty of heavy items. Best memories are my twin girls riding in trailer and using the X485 to learn to drive.

Had to sell it with a house a two years ago and now have a new 2012 X728 inbound with 45 FEL. I have grass to mow, gravel and sand to move, and just good general Garden Tractor work. Got the 7-Iron 60 Inch deck as well and can't wait to try mulching feature!

My girls are in college now, but the X728 will be a garage mate to my Gator 825!

Nice move with the 728.
Girls are looking like they are having fun as do mine with our X485.
You will Love the FEL. I have done so much with mine I can't believe I waited so long to get one. I think you will too.

My 13 yo can operate the FEL almost as good as me. (she will be my engineer when she goes to college)

Funny, but your Model 15 Cart didn't look quite so large behind the X485 as it does behind my 140!

Glad to hear you're getting back on a big X again, and with a 45 FEL at that! :thThumbsU

Diesel or gas, the X7 series is the best possible machine out there in this category I think. You made an investment, not just a purchase.

Enjoy many happy hours on that beautiful machine!

Congrats On the X728 I Hope to be upgrading from a X485 to a used X748 In the Next Month or two:thThumbsU

Congrats on the new X728. Don't have to tell you you're going to love it. A 45 FEL to play with also, have fun! :thThumbsU

Urban Tractor - Thank you sir. I used the X485 to pull full sized car hauler trailer (without car) often. The brakes were the limiting factor - not the pulling ability!

JDX740 - You are so right. I shopped (via internet) the used X700 series market all over mid-west. These tractors hold their value very well!

Sergeant - Love the X485. I had to sell mine on a house move in 2011 - I miss it!

KWDAILYD - Thank you sir! What a fine looking (and well equipped!) X machine you have.

I love my X728 and 45 loader combo. I find it so handy for many tasks. Good luck with it.

I don't have a mower deck or a front end loader for my X728, but I do some tilling and snow blowing and I'm at a loss for words on how much I like this tractor.

You got a good one Rick, enjoy it.
Here's a couple of pictures of mine, and my website shows you quite a few things about how mine is set up.
