Show your favorite tool when working on on Lawn Boys. Here's mine it's a Grey 3/8 , 7/16 12 point wrench that belong to my Dad. Great combination for most Lawn boy repairs.

I guess my favorite tool when working on the Lawnboys is the factory tool kit. Also I have the Lawnboy mower monitor which reads RPM and stopping time for the BBC mowers although I haven't used the monitor that much. Usually use the Treysit Vibratach for checking RPM. Bill

It's hard to narrow that down to one tool as being the favorite. Let's see, for the top tool that saves the most time and money it would probably have to be my pittman arm puller that I use to pull those blade adapters. I pretty much only work on pushers (either F or D series) so not a lot of special tools required, but another tool I really love is the crank seal removal tool. It makes a lower seal change on the D series extended snout crankcases a 5 minute job. Another tool that doesn't get used as often, but it could be a real time saver, is the mag plate needle bearing retainer. It's super sweet when just doing a short block swap in the fact that you just don't have to worry about losing a needle down in the crankcase.

Working on F series and lately a 10356 Silver with a Tecumseh 4stroke . I wore out my right arm pulling it over, I removed the shroud and the starter an used my 3/8 drill with a 13/16 on the crank nut. I got it running pretty good.after taking the carb off and spraying Carb cleaner through the fixed jet and needle valve. The one speed transmission is in good shape I got put the governor rod in the wrong hole on the throttle plate end That needs to be fixed

Very nice! I use my spark tester all the time. You can still find that style online on eBay. Looks like one of the little spacer adjusters is missing. I have never used that item but I think I have seen them on eBay. Bill
