Today i was using the snowboy and the auger started spitting sparks from the ground. I was terrified i ruined it but it turns out that the weld that holds the auger part on it broke. I remember the guy saying he repaired it once already. I will have to have my uncle come with his welder and fix it. And i took apart my 1816 and found something odd. The coil is exploded. the outside is. But it still has great spark. Weird. Has anyone else ever seen this?? Should i replace it even though it works? thanks!!
MR FIX IT
we only got about 1.5 inches of snow but under that is about an half inch of ice. I was stupid to use my snowboy on that! I think it would have done just fine if the auger wasnt prebroken. The weld on it finally gave up.

Yep, I just about killed my Murray 4.5/21 today. It did do a great job though with the 13 or so inches we got today.
