Looks like a great job done. Is it built so that you can shave back the bankings of your driveway.:sidelaugh
It's more because I have to go close of garage door I do 5 driveways and every door have each side a 4 feet wall so need to pull the snow from the door so I can blow it away.

Nice work,

There have been a few times when that 12v jack went on sale at Canadian Tire i was tempted to get one for just that type of thing. It runs abit slow but from your video seems like it will do fine.

It's not fast like a real actuator but like you said its doing the job and I put an ammeter on, it only pull 1.8 amps to lift.

Might it be worth the extra effort to double face your blade
just in case you want to do a little back pushing instead of only
dragging?

Speaking for myself.....with a set-up like that.... I would be
really tempted to push back snow banks.

Re: Picture of rear snow blade built form scratch

I watched your video. Nice looking blade. Your tractor will have no trouble pulling a car out of a snowbank, guess what will happen to the blade mount if you hit a piece of ice frozen to the ground while working. The tractor won't stop but the blade will.

Make a much stronger tongue and a much stronger connection to a stronger blade post.

Don’t worry it is not finish I intended to but 2x2 across to get directly to the frame and move the JD wait on it.

And the blade will be reinforce to, I use to have in the past (20 year or so) a pick up with a front fisher plow (8 feet) so I know what kind of damage ice could do.
