hi everyone purchased a cub cadet 1100 today rather cheap previous owner thought motor was locked up but i found the top counter weight was bent so thats a simple fix (think he might be mad when i tell him that) and its in pretty good shape.owner also has a cub 100 rolling chasiss was kinda wanting to know its worth because i may take it too. i know the 1100 is forsaken by cub guys but i couldent help passing it up and it came with a running wheel horse. pictures to come soon

rusty i have a draftsman gt/16 as well it was my first and most labor intensive project(now i jynxed myself) now something will break on it lol anyways good old tractor but crappy engine setup and belt setup. i just rebuilt this motor and i still have the deck with good pulleys. glad to see there are some still around i do have an extra hood in decent shape in the shop so for the most part shes a garage queen

isnt show quality but she will do. the top counterbalance retainer clip was broken and some of the teeth on the counterbalance gear wear a little sheared so they thought it was locked up so hopefully its a cheap fix i dident give much for it the motor is in decent shape i paid 75 for the tractor and it came if a brand new set of tires and rims loaded down.btw i do have the center gear shift peice it just isnt on in the pic. as far as the 100 all it is is a frame hood and rear end.

Yes the 1100 is considered Forsaken But the same setup was Used By Many manufactures at that Time Look at The Simplicity Soverign its shaft to right angle gear Box and Belt to trans. I would Own a 1100 just Because of the Shaft to right angle gear Box Just to have I guess Because it was the first to have that setup in the Cub Cadet Line But Not the Last. The 482 & 582S also had that setup:thThumbsU

1100 had a horizontal 11hp briggs and they do have counterbalance gears 1 on top and the other on the bottom owners manual says its part number 758 motor is original still a good motor. if i was alot closer $35 is a steal for that tractor.
