Where can I find a deck adapter? (if thats even what its called) I need the part for a bagger that connects between the deck and the hose, been searching everywhere for "deck adapter" but not finding what I need. This is for a wheelhorse but I'm sure most anything will work. I've seen things like the cyclone rake that come with a universal one but cant find just the part. most sites want a model# and serial# to view parts.

Its going on a 516-h 42" deck. trying to hook up to a trailered leaf vac.
I did get a heating duct register from the depot that I was planning to use but it looks a bit rigged. I'm also having trouble finding 5" or 6" hose to use, it sells for $150 on ebay but I'm not looking to spend that much.

Leaf vac hose is an arm and a leg wherever you buy it. I wouldn't recommend under 6" dia.

The 6" dia. by almost 8' long hose kit for the MacKissic walk behind chipper vac will bolt right up to the MTD (shredder side) by drilling 2 extra holes in the plastic flange at 8 o'clock and 4 o'clock (like the original chute has) and re-using the steel spacer that was under the chute. The spacer makes a good drill guide too. But the MacKissic hose kit is over $200 at Northern Tool + shipping. And the quality of this hose does not compare to Cyclone Rake yellow hose which is 7" dia. Not near as tough.

I bolted this MacKissic hose kit onto my MTD chipper shedder and use it to get dry leaves up out of small ditches and crannies and pre-shred them for the mower. I bolted a blocker plate onto the chipper side and believe it moves more air and material that way. Also built a long handle onto the machine and moved the axle for better balance, so it is easy to move the machine on foot. I like the performance and threw away both chutes. Never was much of a chipper shredder anyway.

I can't tell you anything about getting a boot for your deck, sorry.

Would that 4" or 8" plastic "hose" they use for drainage around foundations sold at the home centers work for you?--or even 6" stove or duct pipe?....they sell adapters in the stovepipe and duct section that will let you use those sizes probably.. and maybe a round peice of stove or duct pipe could be bent into a square on one end to fit the deck too?..The black pipe for wood stoves is thicker gauge than the galvanized duct fittings are..try looking in the gutter section too, they may sell a squared off downspout adapter thing that might work for you too...

I used to sell defroster hose up to 6" diameter at the parts store, but it was quite costly, and I think it came in 6' lengths..plus its probably too fragile to use on what you intend to use it on..only bummer about the drainage pipe stuff is you'll probably have to buy a whole roll--my friend just got 50' of 8" stuff given to him,was leftover from a construction job..maybe a foundation contractor would sell you only what you need..

So far everything I've seen in my budget is the ductwork stuff, I've began collecting some of it little by little. The black drainage pipe would work good, its a bit stiff but would work, my local depot sells it in 4" only but 10' lengths.
The other thing I've found that I could use for the flex pipe is 6" flexible heating/air duct , it seems a bit flimsy and may get torn up by debris quickly but at $8 for 25' I may just try it.
I think I have enough stuff to do atleast a temporary rig-up, I'm just waiting on the new chipper shredder blades I ordered and I'm afraid to take my plow off and remount the cutting deck, I know as soon as I do it we'll have more snow.

I went to the DR site and couldn't find the deck adapter, if someone sees it please post a link or a price. The cyclone adapter is $80.
The thing that gets me is I'm sure a few dozen people local to me have an old deck adapter in their shed that they dont use but they don't know what to do with it, I even had a clist ad looking for one for awhile but no replys.

I bought a used Cyclone Rake this winter, and have a new mower deck adapter (mda) on order from Woodland Power Products, maker of the CR. The mda I have is beaten up a bit, and it was assembled wrong by the previous owner, causing minor damage, but that's not why I'm replacing it. It is 6" high where it aligns with the deck, and my Kubota needs the 8" version. The attached hardware and adapter were on a John Deere CUT. Email me if you have interest in it. Make an offer and pay for shipping, and I'm happy to get it back into service.
