I saw another member with a stack on his 318 and thought it looked cool...so I added one too!

Went to Lowes, bought a section of chrome drain pipe, then went to TSC and bought a Rain Flap. Painted the flap and BAM! She's done.
Neat.

Was thinking about doing my 110 like that but with a muffler,I know the Onan has a muffler but the 110 muffler is outside. My only concern is that it might be too close to the hood and melt the decal, some of my Onan powered tractors have melted the headlight lens.

Looks very nice!,
I thought about doing that but I realized you would have to remove the
stack every time you have to take the side panel off.:fing20:
C-175 :)

That does look kinda cool.
How does the pipe attach to the muffler?

If I did have to take it off it's only held on with a hose clamp...1 minute on-one minute off!

I did the banana-peel thing by cutting slots into the end of the pipe...then added the clamp...then just tighten. It's a nice fit and simple install.

Thanks for the all the compliments... and thanks to jgj5150 for the inspiration ;)

Maybe a pic or two of where you mounted the pipe onto from you or Jgj5150 would be in order? Lots of folks interested, it seems.

Well, maybe one with the hood up, one with the hood up from a different angle, (or three or four) one with the side panel off, (from a few angles) two from underneath, and two or three through the grill area. And one, of the pipe, on the rack at the Home Depot would be nice.

:ditto: Johnny Reb, I would like to put a stack on my 455.

I believe it's around one inch.
I have the same chrome pipe on my 455 diesel.
I cut a few slits so it could compress and hose clamped it on my muffler.
The clamp was inside the plastic side panel so it looked factory.
The elbow of the pipe finally cracked after two years of use. So i took it off. Haven't bought another... Yet!
