I've stumble across some Brinly attachments - plow/cultivator/disk for $250 thinking that was a fair price i bought them. I think they came with a early/mid 60's model cub lawn tractor that he just bought and didn't want the attachments.

I will want to hook these up to my 318 that I has a Ruegg drawbar on 3PH. I found a site that builds up the hitch for the receiver but I have question. What are the two bolts that are on each side used for? They want $65 for this hitch which to me seems a bit on the high side. Does anyone know a good place to get one from?

The cultivator is missing the back wheels - thinking I can maybe find some wheels at a local store or maybe from an old play wagon.

Nice attachments, that moldboard plow new is more than $260.00 alone. I would think that you could get a hold of BH and they can set you up with the parts that you need?? Here is a link to their site http://brinly.com/

You need to get you one of these metal plates or fab you one, that way when you tighten the bolts it will firmly secure your attachments. Here are two pics of the bracket, first pic above the nuts and bolts that you would tighten second pic # 24 in the drawing.. Click on pic for bigger picture.:thThumbsU

Little confused on this plate, I thinking I don't need one of them if I'm using my 2" receiver on my Ruegg drawbar.

I checked out the heavy hitch website, they are slightly more money than the one I posted of pic of.

Thanks for all the replies.

Heavy Hitch, one of our site sponsers, makes the item in your first pic. You would have to go to their site to get a price!

The adapters work good for discs and other attachments where adjustment isn't as crucial. However for the the plow you can run and adapter, but getting the plow set up right can be a nightmare. I ended up just buying a 3 point hitch plow. On a sleeve hitch it is pretty easy to set a plow up, on a 3 point plow on a 3 point it is pretty easy to set up, something about adding in the adapter, there are to many things to adjust and to many variables. When I went to a plow day it took plow experts better than 4 hours of adjusting to help me get my plow to work decent. Then I was able to buy my 3 point plow. You can make an a frame similar to the ones found on the three point plows so the plow hooks directly to the three point. I would be more than willing to take measurements for you if you would like.
