Painted it ugly JD green and yellow, kept loosening it in the grass and dandelions and now wants to sell it.
Subtract the cost of a paint job to get rid of that ugly green and tallow when making a offer.

Ugh, that cannot be unseen!

:D

Reminds me of the standup Jet Skis a buddy and I used to ride. My was bone-stock except for a ride plate and a few other bolt-ons. His was modded up to the eyeballs, including an insane custom paint job. When we sold them, they went for sale prices within a few hundred bucks of each other...

Guess they ran outta tape and wanted to save the paint code decal....

Not real slick looking.

X738 is the efi engine. I thought deere called it a 25.5hp. They take Kawa's name off it and call it some proprietary name on their website. Also has the hydraulic all wheel drive. I like my mechanical 4x4 and the choice to use 2x4 (which is 90% of the time). Seems like the hydraulic system would be costly, but maybe they make up for it with the cheaper K92 (no 4x4 output).

X738 pretty much the same thing right? Engine is the Kawi and tranny the same???
I'll tell ya, you stirred my curiosity, and I went to JD's site to use their 'comparison' tool, which lets you select XL or Kubota machines to set side by side with their's. What a huge disappointment!

I have to assume the JD guys in charge of finding the Simplicity data simply entered "--" wherever the XL met or exceeded the JD. It's a pretty useless tool, except for where it highlights things the JD has that XL does not...BUT, even some of those are untrue or play a semantics game.

Example, they highlight their Kawa as "EFI, OHV, oil filter". The Simplicity uses the same motor, except it's the carbureted version, with higher hp rating. They call it simply 'VTwin'. =[

JD Cylinders, "V-twin, cast-iron liners"
Simplicity cylinders, "two"

What the ****? :dunno:

I can just imagine how much it would cost to repair/replace one of those jd front hydraulic drives. Me too, I like the option of using 4 wheel drive when I want to use it.
