Well you can't see plough(s); but this is from last year ploughing at the Georgian Bay Steam show. Hope to see as many MTF'rs there as possible this year.

The 448 did real well, but my furrows were so deep the guy behind me was complaining his tractor was bottoming out.

Awesome picture Hydronerd! That is funny about the other guy, bet he wished he had larger tires. What are you running for weight?

I'm about 190.:sidelaugh

The guy complaining was the one with the little Cub Cadet, not the Speedex behind me. I was running just the inside wheel weights you see here (not the barbell weight on hitch). I don't know how much they weigh; 80-100# each side. They fit in real nice and I still have room for weights on the outside of the wheel.

Traction was no problem, but the front end did buck up and out of the furrow.

I think I remedied that problem too.

Engine seized on the 448. I think I'll use my WH Raider 10 this year. Got to make a sleeve hitch.

PS that's snow on top. Funny getting ready for plough day when its snowing.

This is the last time I put a plow to a tractor, 3 years back, I think...but I see light at the end of the tunnel, and believe I may yet plow again! I'm very undecided on which machines I would take to plow. I'd prefer to take a couple of the oldies, but my diesel is begging for some work.
