FYI, this is one of the Model Numbers that craftsman has re-used. it's now a tractor number.
Hey Stripmine,

I seen that at Sears Direct Parts when I looked up that part number, it showed a mower instead of the sickle mower, but found the sickle mower owner's manual online with the same part number. Had me confused there for awhile....which isn't hard to do! :dunno:

Thanks for the clarification on part numbers!

For the auger, I like the idea of connecting a manual unit to the tractor, certainly the easiest way to go, especially if you just add a track and don't try to power the depth control.
Basically, the tractor would supply the extra "hands" and the auger's engine supplies the power. You just grab the handles and push down. No need to connect anything to the tractor power train.
I know, not as easy as the fully-powered CUT attachments, but a compromise that I could certainly use.
BTW, the CUT attachments that I've seen use simpler connections (hydraulic levers as opposed to the track-type shown above).
Cool idea either way!

Ok guys this is for a FF but is the first I have seen not in a picture
bought it last week
looks like it was made for a fullsize tractor! Awesome!

Code:
I recently acquired a 917.251520 sickle also. rough shape. It has (torn-up) a wooden pitman arm and several other problems. I ordered a PDF manual over the week-end but haven't seen it show up in e-mail yet. the pitman arm end is still on the bent knife head. Yesterdday I realized the pulley bearing housing has been welded (really sloppy) to the support frame way out of square. I'll have to grind and cut it loose.:praying:, replace the top plate and redo that completely.

You don't need that piece of junk, let me know where you live and I'll haul it off for you. LOL:fing32:

Man I've been looking for one... and I haven't found any Cat 0 tillers, let alone the correct one for my FF/24.:banghead3

Let me know if you ever want to sell it.

Dave

Love that roller!

Potato plow

I have a few more semi rare items mostly for DB's but one I've never shown is an unused sprayer. It's never been assembled and nothing's ever been in the 15 gallon tank. All the nozzles and parts are still in little cloth bags and the hoses are still tied up with theit original strings from sears. It's stashed away right now but I'll try to get pics. It can be set up to spray 8 feet wide.

What about the drum kit I spied in the background?? And how does that plow sound as a kick? lol...

Look at the set of discs attached to a toolbar in this post in the for sale section:

Were those an option, or something that was cobbed together? I've never seen discs on a toolbar. Almost looks like they might have been used like a hiller?
