Does it need to be 100% Stihl? I have a 30 something year old Partner saw with a Husqvarna bar, a Jonsered guard, and a Stihl chain so I'm guessing I can't join the club.

I don't have a close-up so you'll have to take my word for it that the chain is a Stihl.

LLigetfa, if you're proud of it, show it. No problems here. That's a nice looking load of wood. Is that this year? You have snow already?

Picture was taken 2/22/2009 and I still have enough of that wood left over for this Winter and next. 12 cord is the minimum my wood guy will deliver and I burn about 4 cord a year. I try to stay 2 years ahead so will order up anouther load this Winter.

I take Winter cut wood that is clean and can be delivered on frozen ground. I don't like to sweat so I process it in Winter when the mosquitos don't bite.

BTW, that Stihl chain only needed to be filed twice to buck up that 12 cord. A testament to Stihl quality and clean Winter cut wood.

No snow here yet. Still need to mow the lawn and waiting for the last of the leaves to fall.

here ya go... my 026 w/ a beat up bar. She had a hard week one time cutting up RR timbers....The 020T , resting on a shelf.

I don't have any pictures (no camera) but for my personal use I have two; an 026 PRO and an 045AV. I also Have an 038AV Super Farm Boss that I picked up last weekend for $40.00, good honing of the cylinder and a new piston and rings got it running like a new one. It will be sold soon I am sure. And I just picked up an 032AV that has a dead coil, going to see what I can do with that one.

I don't have a picture of my chainsaws right now(I know that's what you want). I have a 026 (24" bar) and a 039(36" bar).
Wow, those are some long bars for those saws! I see you have the weather from Denver in your sig, I usually get to that area every year for the drag racing at Maple Grove Raceway (the National Event), stay right behind the starting line (across the road) at a little private rv parking area.

Well here is my new toy..... Got her last week. I waited until my new chaps came before I used it. So tonight after work I went out to the shop put on my chaps and fired up the Stihl . I'm cutting up two large locust tree trunks with this saw. My two homelites, (in the show your homelites post) were used to de-limb and cut the smaller stuff up. I've been wanting to buy a chainsaw with a longer bar on it for a while now, but I can blame this on my brother-in-law. He has a ms-180 and after using that saw one time, I knew my next saw would be a Stihl. :trink39:

pigsitter or anyone.... I have a "Farm Boss" sticker on the side of my chainsaw and on the bar it has "Wood Boss". pigsitter's bar looks like it has "Farm Boss" on the bar???? Are there any differences between the "Wood Boss" bar and the "Farm Boss" bar? :thanku:

No clue on that one cadman56,I'm thinking it's more of a marketing thing than an actual difference in the bars.Mine is a 20" bar running .325 pitch chain, maybe some more knowledgeable Stihl guys can answer this one.

Here is my lowly homeowner grade 250CE. Easy start, easy chain tightening. Looked down upon by "real" sawyers, but once I compared starting it to the standard 250 I was sold! It's been doing yeoman's work after this October snow.

The 441 is a great saw- my father has one. I'd almost trade my 660 for one- they have more then enough power, and a it's a little easier to handle.
