Hi, my engine seized up on my X300. Something happened, oil everywhere, and now cannot turnover the engine (tried manually as well without the plugs in).
250 hours on the tractor.

What is recommended to do, replace engine, if so with what, or my options? Or look for another tractor?

Thoughts? Thanks.

Check your warranty. 250 hours are not a lot of hours on a X3xx series tractor.

The newest X300 is 9 years old so I doubt if it's under warranty. Look on Facebook marketplace, usually you can find low hour mowers for what it would cost to repower with a new engine..

Probably barfed a valve. Kawasaki air cooled engines like to do that....especially around 250 hours when they're due for adjustment. Bummer.

Either rebuild or replace with something else. I'd suggest another Kawasaki engine so you won't have to retrofit the wiring.
