My first is a Wheel Horse C-120 bought it new in 1977. It's still the only one I have. I install a new 18 HP Briggs & Stratton Vanguard last spring. Good to go another 34 years.

1962 Wheel Horse 702, bought as a rusted heap with no engine in 2002, when I was 16. Restored to like new and used it..still have it!

An late 1970s Ariens Emperor RER 6hp lawson still have it , not running. bought it in 1984

A Craftsman 1036, bought it used for $400 (too much, but the best deal I could get at the time) in 1993 when I was getting ready to close on our house. We moved in in August, and I mowed about 2 acres with it the rest of that season and all of the next. During the first mow of 1995, it threw the rod out the side of the case into the starter. Sold it to my boss for $100 - he had a 1036 with a good motor but a bad frame. My best memories of that tractor were my son falling asleep while riding on my lap.

Mine was a honda rer 8hp if I remember right. I used the deck to level the septic dirt after they installed a new one, to funny I haven't thought about that in years. I paid 250 for it, it was a 6 speed, I think. I sold it for a 100, 6 years later. Man it was tired, smoked like you would believe. When I first got it I tore it apart and repainted it. Guess some things don't change.

My 69 Gravely 430 bought 6 years or so ago. cost me 50 bucks had everything to run the comm 40 mower that it came with started right up with some gas and a batt charge

Mine was a late 70's MTD built for the Coast to Coast hardware store chain. If memory serves me correctly, it was a 10 h.p. Briggs and had a 30" deck. I repainted it I.H. red and white and thought it was the coolest LT on the block (it wasn't). Used it and wore it out after three years. I bought it at a farm sale for $60 and got every penny out of it too!

My first GT was a 1964 JD 110. Back in 1982 i got it and was in a none running condition. Put new wiring in it plus rod &piston and mowed many yrs. with it. Then i did a dumb thing and sold it, wish i still had that old girl, she was a good-en. Randy G.:banghead3

1968 Sears 8XL. 8hp Tecumseh, outpulled some Cubs, plowed some snow, and looked good doing it.

that looks nice :thThumbsU and the colors match!

does that have a starter on it too or is it only the pull start. (i'd just stick with a pull start personally. less stuff to go wrong)
