Own two, just bought one. Original was a 5212.5 with 36" deck and 36" blower. Picked up Monday a 6216 with 42" deck, 42" blower and cab. Looking forward to getting the 6216 up and running. A new belt to drive, and should be good to go. Cleaning the deck and blades to put under the 5212.5.
If I get to figure it out, will post some photos.

I have a Simplicity Regent 20 hp tractor/lawn mower mfg date 2007. The PTO pulley is eating away at the welded piece of metal that connects the mower and the mower hitch.

WOW!! seven acres of lawn! I have sheep so I only have to mow half an acre.
So, your saturday's and sunday's are spent mowing grass, what do you do for the other five days?

frankmulcahy: The other 5 days I spend cleaning the mower decks!! Actually; it only takes me a couple of hours to do most of the 7 acres since I use my
Jacobsen 5-gang reel mowers that cut about 10 feet at a time. The Simplicity and the AC are mostly used for the front lawn where I like to "stripe" it.
PS Have friends coming from "down under" in a few days. Would love to
visit Tasmania whenever we come down to Oz.

I will get the Simplicity Landlord warmed up, have extra belts handy and you can show me your skills.
Allow two weeks .
But we will make them shorter than eight hour days, stopping arond beer o'clock.:trink39:

:thanku: Sounds like a plan to me!! First I have to convince the wife to take
that long flight down!:Stop: Looks like I will have to use the Simplicity Legacy to mow most of the acreage for the next week. I have my gang mowers out to have the reels sharpened and just found out they need new bearings which will delay their return for another week.:crybaby: BTW, beer o'clock is my favorite time of day!!:trink39:
