Hi, I have a 1952 8N with a wagner loader. I'd like to replace the hydraulic pump seal for it but am having trouble finding the seal for it online. Any suggestions? thanks

Pump manufacturer?
pump model#?
Pump serial#?

Wagner Loader,
Model#?
Serial#?

Any and all Info will help others in the search for the seals.

:thanku:

Thanks SandDawg. I believe the loader is a Wagner WM-3. Couldn't see a serial number on the loader but I also didn't know where to look for it. The serial # on the hydraulic pump itself was 1512D10B1 and the other number on the pump (near the seal) was 2X15X19C That's about all the info I could come up with. Hope this helps narrow it down. :thanku:

HMmmm.... Not a lot of info on that pump model. I'll keep roaming the net and see if I can find any kits.

Here's a site that has manuals and Info on the Wagner load. It's a pay site but wasn't to high a price for information. Look in the Loader section, they have your model listed.

May want to contact these companies and ask about parts.

Found this schematic of the WM-2&3 Hydraulic Pump. Will have to see if I can find the seals and or kit.

Can't seem to find the repair kit yet, here's some replacement pumps...Kinda pricey!

This pump is a little cheaper but not sure it's the correct one:

This is a good site for all kinds of surplus parts.

Good to know there are still replacement pumps for it but am still hoping for a $5 part fix. Pump works great just has that annoying leak. If seal or kit is unavailable for it what are my odds of pulling the old seal and trying to match it with something locally? :thanku:

I have the same loader and had the same problem. My pump leaked like a sieve past the shaft seal. I too had researched a replacement seal but came up blank. I ended up removing the pump and tearing it down. The seal was almost non existant. I ended up using a square cut oring from a diesel fuel filter i got from napa. I will check the filter number and post tomorrow or soon. It worked like a champ and does not leak at all. Used it to pick up top soil and mulch with no leaks. Now i just have to find and repair the major trans leak comoing out of the clutch housing.

Ok. The seal I used came from a napa 3358 fuel filter. The oring is suppossed to go on the threaded post that the filter screws into.. The seal is 9/16 inside dia. 7/8 outside dia. and 0.015 thick and is square cut. I basically split the pump, cleaned the remains of the old seal and put the new one in the seal holder and it is still leak free after 2 years. The shaft dia. on my pump is 5/8. Hope this helps. I have a few extra seals if you want me to send ya one. Good luck!! Beats buying a new pump!
