Toro 22198 value

I bought this mower from a gent wh bought it less than 4 years ago - used only on his tiny patch of turf - a couple thousand square feet. He loves quality and his mom bought him a commercial Toro as a kid to cut lawns. The BBC broke and I am installing new pulley and belt. This thing looks almost new and has extremely low hours - has bagger, side discharge and mulch plug - also like new. Owners' manuals and original bill of sale, too.
What is this worth in your area?
I haven't even cleaned and detailed it yet.

I suppose it depends on the buyer, but I think $800 is a fair price. Those things are tanks and do hold their value quite well. The last pro line I had was an older two cycle pusher, not in nearly as good of shape as yours and a dude gave me $500 without any hesitation. IMO the pro line/commercial machines are some of the best that money can buy. I think selling one does involve finding a buyer that knows what they are looking at though, but then again I guess that's with anything.

Well, I cleaned and degreased the 22198 (after I did me a little mowin' first) - it is a great machine, but just too big and heavy for my lot. I am trading it for a Toro Proline 22043 in very good condition (about $350 value) plus $400 cash. I would rather have a mower and cash than just cash, being a mower fanaddict. Going to a commercial guy that takes good care of his equipment - I think it is a fair trade. Thanks for your input, guys. I actually like the Suzuki Prolines better than the Battleship Kawasakis - for my lawn.
