(!) How does that thing work? It can't just be pulling the arm through the ground. Does it use power to oscillate it up and down or something?

Wow. Learn something new every day.

So has anybody inventoried the *entire* suite of gravely attachments? Ignoring one-offs and wierd stuff that somebody customized, there still is a huge list. IIRC gravely themselves had something like 35 or 40, and I keep hearing about new ones that were made by other vendors. It would be cool to see the entire list.

The other question that comes to mind is what other sorts of power equipment has the variety of attachments gravelys did. For instance Bobcats have all kinds of wacky things you can hook up to them (my favorite is the flail device for clearing land mines :Stop: ) but there's lots of others. Don't think they have as many as gravelys, though.

Part of the fun :)

Such a shame that such a versatile power system as the Gravley line that it is a virtual Swiss army knife tractor having so many attachments and able to be changed from one attachment to another some easier of course than others, That it could be used in so many ways still faded away .

No Don, it is not adapted. It is an attachment made for Gravely. Check out the 1990 allied equipment Brouchure. - Kris :rauch10:
