Snapper trailer, how does it attach to a RER? Or does it?

Buddy gave me a snapper dump trailer, but I can't figure out how it attaches to the RER? Is it not intended do? Am I missing some pieces?

Looks like this one (not my picture). It came with a bent piece of flat metal bar but I think I should have a flat one too? If I can figure out what it looks like I should be able to make one. If someone has the setup and can share pictures it would be much appreciated!

I found a picture of an older and a newer RER on the old Internet. As you can see below it is a simple flat bracket attached at the rear end on the older model and is part of the stamping on the newer model. I have an elderly Load Hog trailer that is very similar in design to the Snapper. You can use a Lynch Pin #30 as shown in the view of the tongue or just use a 4-5 " bolt. If your bracket is missing or the hole is wallered out a home built bracket can be made from some 2-3" angle iron. Or order something from the Old Ami Zone. I do hope that this helps.

You be welcome. I have been there and done that myself on occasion(s). I hear that there is a syndrome out there that explains it. I believe that it is called the WDICOHF SYNDROM. This made up Acronym stands for Why Did I Come Out Here For??? I have found out that as I get older that I am becoming more susceptible to this Malady. We have a garage/shop out on the other lot. I go out there to do some chore and by the time I walk out there I have completely forgotten what I came out there to do. It gets real aggravating sometimes.

Ok so now I'm back to that **** won't work unless I make it different. Here is the part that I do have I found a manual!! Snapper has some crazy setup for this trailer. Mine doesn't even match the one in the manual?

Anyway it won't work to make that tubeular hitch because the bag-n-wagon sits higher then the snappers hitch. Can still work will just need to bend it.

Why did this manual never show up in previous searches?

Here is a picture I found from on a auction site showing things.

Hello. I found some information for you off of the Old Internet. The YT Video shows a fella riding his Snapper HV with a Bag N Wagon in action picking up leaves & grass. Pretty good views of how the B N W should look like installed and working behind the mower . I believe the B N W is offset to the right to allow the grass chute to enter the front part of the bag. The bracket shown is being offered on eBay but if it fits your unit I am not sure. Find the part numbers needed and eBay may have what you need. Last photo is of a complete B N W assembly. I do hope that this helps you out.

Hello. I have in my Snapper Manual Pdf. files the 06084 ACCESSORIES manual. I have included in this reply a freebie copy of said manual for you to download. Pdf. page 50 shows an B N W Dump cart. It may give you some ideas on how to modify your B N W so it would work for you. Pdf. page shows a straight tongue. This cart is similar in design to the Load Hog trailer that I own. If you have access to some square or U shaped tubing perhaps you could make a tongue that will work for your snapper.
I hope this gives you the help you need to get your cart done correctly.
