I heard this clip from Gump is what killed off this little tractor. I remember a artical saying that snapper was embarrassed about it or something to the effect.

That's what made them get rid of it and go to the horrible re10. Glad they saw their mistake and corrected it.

Not often a company realizes a mistake and brings something back. People have been griping about killing it off for years.

Hope they're as good as the originals were. Very dependable mowers for small to mid-size lawns.

The original Snapper rer was a great machine no doubt; the only downside I ever experienced on mine was that it was slow; I mean it was even slower than my current 16 yr. old Cub if you can believe that. I guess that explains the Snapper turtle logo, Cub should have a snail. :sidelaugh

Aw heck it's all in fun. Our family had a retail business from 1966 - 1992 and Snapper was the primary mower line we sold with Yazoo, Murray & Gilson as secondaries. I had heard Snapper had gone down hill on their rer but am glad to see they are back on track. Btw, thanks for the video.

I did some looking ,looks like the manuals can be found on the B&S site using the numbers 2691525 & 26. Some parts same number as the old some different numbers ,but almost surely higher priced. Some new numbers might work on the older ones , but who knows? I Posted some pages ,some numbers seem familiar ,some don't, but they are mostly hardware

I bought one of these last week 23 May 19 and it is pretty neat. Didn't know the classic was coming back till I saw that video a few weeks ago.
I have the 33" deck. The model # is 2691526. I emailed the Snapper company and they told me they make them in Milwaukee WI. I am selling
my 2013 "Turtle" 33" (only 57 hrs on it) and the Mowjack I got for it. Got tired of laying on my back trying to change blades and cleaning the deck. The bumper on the
new snapper is shaped a little different and at the bottom of both ends of the bumper, I placed some furniture chair tips from Lowe's as end caps
to keep bugs and whatever from getting inside the bumper tubing.
