It's a geared transmission right, what happened to it? These transmissions are pretty simple and split horizontally so you can open it up and everything stays in place. If it was me I'd crack it open and see what failed.

 

Yep it is a gear 6 speed. It has locked up.
I have dropped it off at my local small engine shop who have been very good in the past.
I have had no experience with transmissions so I figured I would give it to someone more experienced.
I'm looking for the list to see what may be out there if they can't fix it and I figure I maybe able to find a blown engine job and pick up the tranny from it.
