Got the gt1554 a little more than a week ago.Went in to pay for it and he was going to deliver it for me but it was going to be a few days.So he told me if i wanted i could take his truck and trailer so that is what i did.I don't have a trailer so i thought that was nice of him.
I had him load it,it started ran great.I got it home and i started it started great but ran a little rough for maybe a min.I would say it misses or surges?OK maybe this will help more (this being normal uuuuuuuuuuuur)for 30 to 60 sec when i start mine it's like ururururururururur.I have started maybe 4 times and has done it every time.My dealer says that is normal.It is still a little cool around here,i'm not that worried but thought i would ask.My snow blower and other LT doesn't do it but the are broke in if that makes a diff?
I will be changing oil at 5 hrs.But what i was wondering when should i lub it? should i do it now or at 5hrs or when?Also what is the best way to lub the deck spindles.Take the deck off? I was thinking about getting car ramps so i could clean the deck better with out taking it off all the time.I heard the deck comes off easy but a little harder to get back on.The gt has 11 guage deck the slt 12 so it would be a little heaver.i really like this deck over 54in. on the slt i like the rollers.
Oh one more thing i got a oil filter and the book calls for kh-25-050-25-s the dealer sayed that was wrong and they don't have them.they gave me kohler #52-050 02-s1 does that sould right?
It did'nt seem like the foam pre cleaner was oilied is that done at the factory?Also my dealer said don't do it.I disareed with him and it's in the owners manual plus i do it to the B&S not sure what his thinking is there?
Sorry for all my doubt questions but it is my 1st new LT and want to do it all right. thanks for any help John
