It's turning white hear in Kansas today! I bet Fordtech might be getting some snow in Oklahoma too as it seems to be coming from that direction.

Are you close to the Excell/Hustler Mower factory? I went there about 5 years ago for some training and a tour.
Sorry to get off subject.

Fordtech,

Please lower your shields! Our dilineum crystals are in need of replacement and we can only hold 10% power to the shields! We won't last another hour at this rate! The nearest Federation ship is 5 hours away at top warp speed. :i_praying :praying:

monoshock,

Yes the factory is in town about 3 miles from me. I have a 440 with a 72 inch deck for the rough stuff on my 10 acres. I have friends that work there.

fouracres,

You can keep that kind of snow! (18") We are not set up to handle it here. Nice looking house by the way! :thThumbsU

Thanks mtgrs737, we love living here. This is the second snowbelt I have lived in, the other was when I was a kid in Orchard Park south of Buffalo.

I was just in town and one of the county plows was turning at the stoplight, these things would amaze you. Huge is an understatement. We can get a 2 foot snowfall on a Sunday and the kids are off to school Monday morning.

I did not realize that this was in the Push Lawn Mower forum. To make this a legal reply, we use a 14 year old Sears rear discharge push mower once or twice a month around a lot of evergreens. I have changed the plug once because I thought it had been long enough, oil gets changed once a year. We also have a 12 year old spoke wheel DR mower, useful but I think the design was for someone a lot shorter than my 6'2" height.

We mow acres so a GT is a must and our primary machine is a 23/54 Simplicity Prestige. I love to play with striping the lawn.

I learned a valuable lesson Friday, never take your wife to the county transfer station when offloading the trash. There was a Lawnboy Silver something that looked very clean and worth a talk to the boys to see if I could take it home. Of course, I was told that we have enough in the garage already.....

:thThumbsU Nice choice in a GT, fouracres! If I had enough grass to reqire a tractor, a Simplicity would be my choice. They make a good product.

BTW, if we had two feet of snow in one snowfall down here, it'd take us the rest of the year to recover from it. :ROF

You guys out west keep this stuff to yourselves. :fing32:
This is your punishment for putting a L-B "V" engine on a Murray deck---call it FordTech's snowflake of retribution. :sidelaugh
