JD X475 Part Question

The old mechanical hour meters often had a 1/10 wheel then after that black/white wheel that rotated just to show the meter was working.
Newer electronic meters would have the hourglass or something similar that flashed just to let you know the meter was working.
The old X475 had a light in the dash that showed an open book. That was the service light. Later models have the indicator that the parking brake is on in the same spot the open book was.

If you can go back to the online manual where you found how to reset the service light, go to where the indicator lights are shown and you will see where the service light would be and what it looks like; (first light to the right of the hour meter, bottom row of lights).
