Anybody have any info on this beast? Bought one a few years back and even locale dealers haven't seen them. Pretty cool, full time 4x4, rear stear, articulating, centrifugal belt clutch, and 1 ton payload capacity.

Looks to be a golf course or small farm machine. Attached a PDF of an ad page from a golf course in MN. Not much more info than you probably already know. Might be a "file" piece to go with the machine. From a few comments found on line they are very capable machines. Congratulations on owning one!!

Been doing antique tractor shows for thirty years. Never have I seen one. Get stopped at the tractors shows all the time wanting to know what it is. When parked at our camp site at the Mason Steam Show, everybody stops by to check it out. I've emailed Jacobson Corporate a few times but never get replies.

Doing a little poking around the old interwebs, found a few tid bits but not a whole lot.

Pug was manufactured by Bruce Manufacturing Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At some point Jacobsen bought Pug and made these utility vehicles in their name.

While the Pug in this service/parts manual looks a little different than yours, it had head lights etc., I attach the PDF just in case there are similarities to your version, and it might be useful in some way.

Also a sales brochure PDF.

Good luck, take good care of it, that one is pretty rare.

Thanks alot for the info. Driving it around at the tractor shows brings a smile to my face. Have to work on the engine a little bit, runs good but starts hard. Maybe add electronic ignition to the kohler k 341 motor. Need to get a different muffler, I think the guts are blown out of this one. Going to keep the old parts and try to keep it as stock as I can.

That's a very cool machine! Rare too. Its box and 4x4 would make it a great wood hauler. I could also picture it with a plow or self powered blower. I would bet that a cab would have been offered too. Bruce also manufactured the "Twister Tractor", also 4x4 and articulated. They are also rare. I would have to make room somehow if I were ever to come across one.

Hey 82 shortbox it is so nice to see another uv4 out there i love mine. Who did you talk to at Jacobson i may need to find another parts manual for mine just moved and cant seam to find it. Oh and do you still have the mech fuel pump on yours mine gave me a lot of trouble switched to electric. And replaced carb (found a nice replacement from a guy in Ohio) they custom build garden tractors for pulls. The key thing is keeping fuel pressure low about 1-1.5 psi max now mine starts and runs fine still using pionts.
