There appear to be studs (presumably backed up by pretty wide spacers) through the four holes in the spokes.

[later] Actually, I don't think individual spacers would do it. There's gotta be some fabbed-up 10-inch or so spacer tube with studs on it.

I know with IH Cub Cadets there are dual wheel spacers made to do this.

Disagree about snow removal, whether blowing or plowing. The last thing you want is more tire area to float over the snow. Single wheels with chains is the ticket.

Duals work well when going over sloppy/broken stuff like mud or busted up sticks. In that case you want maximum chance to find something solid for the tires to bear on.
