Our ground gets really wet in the winter and the bigger tractors leave ruts or get stuck from time to time. We picked up this IH 284 in May and decided it was a good tractor for this because its small and light to start with. We pulled some 26X12x12 wheels and tires off of a couple parts balers to mount on the front to replace the 6.70x 15's. We are now working on duals for the rears. Here are the fronts mounted up.

Got some spacer rings rolled up at a local fab shop and did a test fit. Looks like its going to work.

Pumped the calcium out and demounted one tire. We will mount it back on the new rim so it will match the other side. Our duals will be the rears off an allis chalmers C that's torn down for an engine rebuild.
