Help with throttle linkage.

after a really long hiatus I am back working on my B-110.
I'm installing the Carb, on the 10 Hp Cast Iron B&S.
The linkage is baffling me.
Does anybody have a drawing or a page out of a manual I can use?

Have you been to Briggs website to see if manuals are available for this engine?

My AC716H has a Kohler CastIron - I got both Operator and Repair manual for it from Kohler site.

You need the numbers - is that the engine numbers on the tag on the right side of the pix?

That's all I can suggest.

EDIT = the other possibility would be the manual for the AC110 from the simplicity website. My AC manual has some carb info in it as well. But again, that's a Kohler, so no help here.

Do you have the MFR# for the tractor. Older models sometimes use a 3 digit model number or Manufacturer's# - if you have those 3 digits, you add 990 to the beginning of it - like 990XXX - then goto Simp website and get the manual.

Perhaps you already have all this.

simpletractors.com = HERE IS LINK =

They show this info on pg 1 of the ALLIS Cross reference tables.
Check it out.
They call the MFR# a "Catalog Number" - all start w 990.

B-110 2029928 2210 990497 10 HP, ES, PL 1967-68

So, your B-110, is same thing as a Simplicity 2110 or 2210.

maybe this helps - I really don't know what info you already have.
Nor do I know if these manuals help with carb setup.
Nor do I know if Briggs has manuals for download.

I am inept at making those links work.:fing20:
I got this drawing from somebody though. It's answered my questions I think.

Not shown well, but the Hand Throttle cable goes into the hole on the upright link.
Then it does show how the Governor arm is supposed to be hooked up.
The Carb Throttle valve link goes into the top of the Governor arm.
The Choke Cable hooks into the Choke down on the bottom, in the updraft air intake.

I was pretty well lost till I got those Drawings.

Was just on simpletractors looking for info and saw this:

Image

It had this description:

Instant power response at all speeds with the exclusive dual spring governor that makes engine seem to anticipate sudden loads and respond instantly. Even at low rpm, the engine instantly responds to demand for more power.
Yours looks correct except the leftmost hole in the top lever needs to be connected to the pushrod shown.

Many thanks. WOW!
Jim those photos are great. Just the ticket.
Lil's Drawing is something somebody put a lot of time into.

I got to thinking this AM. I have five tractors. All different. We should all Pool our Tractors, and maybe each of us could wind up with Five tractors, all the same.

But then we wouldn't have this grand Campfire to converse around eh?
Many thanks guys! We should hear some Noise outta that Barn today some time. :)
