On L models I plan on using a Kohler adapter plate
and re drill to fit the L transmission plus make a spacer
To hold the engine at the right spacing.
I won't need a gear spacer
It will be part of the gear.
This is as new to me as it is you
I only got this idea last week.
I have all ready got the long shaft made up
Here are some pictures of both. :thanku:
You do nice work GM.:fing32:

I have a question about the re-powers. With the Honda Clones and the diesels don't they have electronic ignition or electronic parts?

One of the reasons I wanted a Gravely 2 wheel with a Kohler engine was that it was a points and coil engine that would survive an EMP. I know, I know I am planning too hard for an event that will never happen. That is what preppers do, plan for the worst and buy stuff that will last (I.E. Gravely)

So for re-powers what are my options if I want something that will survive an EMP?

Thanks,

I am not worried about cutting grass. That will be for the goats and such if that happens. I AM worried about being able to use my still and running the plow and cultivator on my Gravely 2 wheel. The still will supply the fuel but it needs to run.

There was a fellow who put a 23hp Briggs Vanguard on a 10A and it was all bolt on you just need the correct crank length, all the pics, part numbers and specs were on the web, but unfortunately the sites they were on have closed.
If you still have the URL(s), archive.org may have the website archived.
