You can go to the front page http://www.mytractorforum.com/, look through the forums and when you find the one that fits for the question you want to ask, simply select it, then look at the upper left of your screen, you will see New Thread, select it, give you thread a title in the heading box, such as "I have a question on" then type your question in the lower box and select the Submit button below the box area.

The model number 502.xxxxxx means that the tractor was manufactured by Murray (for Craftsman). I have a 1985 Craftsman II that has a similar model number. You won't have much luck trying to find parts by that number, as I've found out.

What are the numbers on the engine? That would be your best bet as to determining the year of the tractor.

 

Its got a 16 hp briggs and stratton model # 401707-0130-011
