I got my 8N back together and it runs great. Next I have to check out the hydraulics cause the guy I got if from said they like to "fall". I don't know if it is him or the tractor. I will be hooking up the back blade and leveling the driveway to see how they work. More than likely, I will be taking them apart and giving them a good cleaning. I'm sure there is a lot of "gunk" in the bottom.
I had a fantastic little "excursion" yesterday. My brother-in-law asked me if I would like to go and see a friend of the families car collection. This guy has an immaculate (to say the least) car collection. Indescribable. While walking through one of his garages, I saw it. a 1950 ford 8N. The tractor looked better than it did on the showroom floor. My wife got a few picks and here they are

I hope I posted it right. If not, I have them in my "Paul's Tractor" album. After I drooled over the tractor for a while, I started thinking. "I would not even want the tractor". If I did have it, I would be using it. Through the woods and dragging the driveway. Not to mention plowing the garden. The tractor was too nice to be used.
