Greetings, I am new to the forum. I have a 2001 Kubota B21 and the bucket rotation cylinder (ram) is leaking. I need to dismantle the ram and put new "O" rings in it. I havent been able to find an adjustabel pin spanner wrench to fit the cylinder. The cylinder diameter is approx 2.5 inches, the hole for the pin is 11/64" and the depth is about 3/16". I called Kubota service in Calif - No Help. I have searched the web and cannot locate an adjustable spanner with these spec's. The manual says to use an adjustable Gland wrench, but I believe these are used on the larger cylinders as the pin holes on the smaller cylinder are on the circumference of the cylinder. I guess I could use a pipe wrench, but I sure hate to. Any help would be appreciated.

I want to thank those who posted the links to the tools. Unfortunately these are the same as the gland wrench, they are meant for the face of the end of the cylinder. does anyone know who manufacturers the cylinders used on the Kubota, I might try to contact them. The idea of using some metal rod and then grabbing it with the pipe wrench does have some merit, that may be the final answer, however, I'd rather find the correct tool.

I made a tool out of some 1" x 1/4" flat stock that looks like a huge pair of sissors--by drilling two holes, one on each peice near the end,you can put bolts or pins in the holes and use it like a spanner wrench to unscrew the end plugs..I used it on steering boxes and other things that use a spanner type tool with pins..

My friend has borrowed it many times to remove fan clutches on later model vehicles, and he has just about every Snap-on or Cornwell tool made for that purpose too,yet the home brewed one I made has often worked for him when they wouldn't..you'll have to custon grind the flat stock to allow it to fit over where it needs to go to get the pins in..

I've seen a few mechanics put pins or studs in the holes in the part to be unscrewed, then weld them to a peice of pipe ,and use a pipe wrench to turn it too..
