I haven't made any, put it sounds similar to the coring tines on my Yard Tuff YTF-60PA3PT aerator. My tines don't eject out the side, they eject out the back. But they do have the 2 bolt holes on top. Here's a diagram of the coring wheel. Ignore the red arrows:

Got it. Now I understand. I've heard those referred to as "open spoon" aerators. Cal

 

Being open makes it easy to remove rocks that plug them up.

 

I pulled up a manual for the Millcreek and it looks like they eject out the back and are slotted to mount to the plate. I don't know what the price is on them but it might be more work to make them than they are worth.
