For those who have been looking for the elusive 60 MId Mount Blade for the X's, here is one for sale in southern MN. :thThumbsU
No, it is NOT mine. Just passing it along for MTF members.
Hurry. It has been listed for 15 hours so far. :sidelaugh
Good luck!

john Deere 60 inch mid blade for x400&x700

I have a x485. i assume this would work. What is the advantage of the mid mount vs the front mount? I assume the front mount would use my current front quick-tach hitch, how does the mid mount work up by the front, does it use the quick tach hitch too?

I have a snowblower so I guess for me it would only be if I needed to move dirt?

It mounts in place of the mower deck and uses the lower click and go bracks on the rear for mounting and i believe the deck lift arms for raising and lowering.

Well it took a total of 4 days to sell :ROF

Yes sir it did..... Made a mad dash north and back south.... This blade will live the life of ease in a nice dry storage shed with an occasional play day.... Since I have no real use for it at the moment... But I am sure I can cook up something. :ROF

That is a nice looking blade. It will look great with your new-to-you tractor. :thThumbsU
:wwp: when you get a chance to mount it.

Thanks and thanks for posting! I had a busy week and wasn't sure if I was going to make it up there.

It is pretty much new, I will get some better pictures tomorrow and post them in my x748 thread.

If I get a chance this weekend I will stick it under the X for a photo op.

Of course now comes the hard part.... Where do I store it :ROF

Edit: Just for future reference for others doing research.... Asking and buying price were the same at $500.... The others that I have known that sold went for 522 and 450.....normally I don't disclose what I pay for things but in the case since they are not common but yet not collectible I am opting to spill the beans.

For a nearly new blade, that's not too bad a price. After all it is no longer available and there were not too many sold. :thThumbsU
In the 2013 Attachments & Accessories brochure the price was $730.

Yeah, I have had my mid mount for about row years myself. Lots of standing in corner of shed. No using yet. Will do that the year though, as I plan to regrade my back yard. Can't wait to use it!

Similar price paid for mine ~$500 ...been so long I can't remember actual price!

Congrats Kyle, I don't remember ever seeing one for sale around here. :fing32:
Thanks Mike, they tend to pop up for sale in random places. One on Ebay in IL, CL in Michigan, one in Texas, the northeast but I can't remember where....

I have been putting the screws to my dealer about every third or fourth time I go in there looking for parts (most are still avalible but outrageously expensive!!!!) or a unsold bundle somewhere....

Thanks for sharing the list price, the last one I have was 680 something... But I don't know what year that was.

Attempting some house keeping....

Here is where the mid mount updates will be posted.

:ROF... I suggested to Mrs. Beef on the way home that I need a rear PTO and tiller so I can regrade the back yard.... We will just say due to the silence I turned the radio up..... If I don't post in the next couple of days please have a wellness check done!

Congrats on the blade it's a fun attachment for leveling, coupled with your X748 that should really carve some earth!! Does the moldboard tilt forward or back?
Thanks.... Not sure about the tilting.... Possibly.... I will dig into that tomorrow. :thThumbsU

Looking at the picture of the blade in your pickup, it appears there is a set of "off set" holes just below the top bolts which mount the blade to the frame.

It looks like using those holes will tilt the blade forward perhaps15 degrees? :dunno:
