Prestige carb question

I am looking at getting a 2005 Prestige with a 23hp kohler. I know the carbs need a good cleaning where can I get a carb kit from?

Any dealer that sells and services Kohler engines should be able to get the rebuild kit for it if one is available. You should have the engine numbers to look up the parts. Here are some online resources:

Yep, still have it. In fact I just changed the hydro oil in it over the weekend. Love the machine and the cut!! :thThumbsU

Does the carb need to be rebuilt or just cleaned? What is or isn't, it doing?

And the Prestige is (in my opinion) is the cats meow...Total class...the cut quality is one of the best out there. :fing32:

I think just cleaned. The green dealer has one it's been sitting there I bet atleast a year.

Get some good carb spray and run some fuel system cleaner thru the lines...It'll clear out...Dealer likely has run it it s few times in that year so I doubt there's a worry.
