Here is a great parts tractor. Almost a shame to use it for that.

This first picture shows how i found it, front axles covered in ice frozen down to the ground.

Here she is after chipping the ice away and tossing my tires on the front end. She does have a sore right foot.

THat back rim looks almost mint. THere are a lot of good parts on this ole girl, I was very happy to find her.

YEs Ya-Ya i have been wondering if i should try to get it going. Been adding up what all it needs. i figure a grand and she would be in the field again, BUT i would like to put the really nice fenders on my other 70 and a few other odds and sods from it.

Here is the situation guys. I have a JD 70 Diesel standard in my garage. The one inside runs very well. I need to get a right fender for it and a few other things that would end up costing me around 1600 bucks. THis Ole tractor sitting outside cost me 1000. I was going to pull all the useable parts off this one and keep them for mine even if i don't need them for ten years or more. If i could find a rear right fender for less them 300 or 400 bucks i would save this one too... JD 2030 the magnito set for the pony motor was on it also. Someone beat me to the starter for the pony motor, I was told the rear end is locked up. and boy is it, it burnt out my winch just dragging it out onto the trail to load it on the trailer. Someone has been into the rear end. THe shifters are off, the back half of the rear end is hanging on loosely with two bolts.

That sure is a nice tractor you got, i was glad to see the can on the stack to keep the rain out.

I was wondering if you had a problem loading it on that deck over.

Nice pictures and thanks for sharing!

No problem at all. My wife missed that picture, the fella had a big loader at his place. Just stuck his pallet forks under the ole JD and set it on my trailer for me. 4300 the can was a day to late.. the motor is stuck.
