I figured I didn't see a thread on this show this year and it was a good one. I finally got the pictures from my mother as well as my own. Feel free to post. LOTS of cool stuff there. Made rare stuff seem common. First few pictures of of our families stuff. Brother had a kid right before the show so my parents couldn't bring as much as they wanted-but they did bring the "coffin block" A pedal tractor - only one at the show.

More pictures. One of them has a turbine engine in it. I forget all the stats on it but it burns the fuel REALLY fast and sounds like something is going to blow when it spools up.

More pictures. I was more interested into the customs and other creations that other companies made like the "mini lift" 140 forklift.

Last of my pictures. There were some things I didn't get to take a picture of but wish I would have. There was one "golf cart" kit on one of the tractors as well that is the only one I have ever seen. I had my JD 20 plow there-only one there. Show should have been a week long with the activities going on as you really couldn't take it all in. Show was free to all and the grounds were GREAT for the show. The JD factory also did factory tours-which they don't do normally. But they "happened' to be show down that week for retooling. Either way it was cool to see.

Coalminer thanks for post! I enjoyed them all. I wish I could have made it.

Just read about this in the new L&G Tractor mag. Thanks for the pics I would have loved to have gone. There are several video's of the 317 articulated and crawler on youtube. I wish I had the skills and time to build something like that.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing!!!!! Love that post hole digger, fork lift, and trencher.

Great pics Travis thanks for sharing :fing32: You don't see a post hole digger like that everyday. Love the prototype 110, there's one floating around these parts too.

Cool stuff! :thThumbsU

I noticed a few little homemade crawlers there. For some reason I'm intrigued with those things! I think making a crawler out of a GT is probably a bit out of my skill level. That 110 crawler is super cool though, would love to have one

thanks for the pics!

finally got to see the elusive pink patio!

is there a story behind the red RF tractor???

Ironically there were two pink "patio's". Parents brought a 68 pink 140 up as well as another that I shared the picture of.

The red 110 basically isn't suppose to exist. It was one of the first experimental L&G tractors JD produced and I think they were suppose to be destroyed. Don't know how many were made. They had the first people that helped built it sign it at the event so it was full of their signatures as well. It was in the barn full of first year 110's (only 1000 made the first year). You could see some key differences from the actual production model.

We were out bid on the post hole digger that had the front weight box. The same guy owns the only two that we know of as well as two forklift 140's that we also would LOVE to have (would buy if someone is selling). We have a trencher and it is one of 3 known. We shared pictures with the one at the show earlier to help him make some parts to make it work.

Next year I get to attempt to make my fathers 140 articulating work. The rear-rearend doesn't work and may need to be replaced. Then I need to make his crawler 140 work. I can share this-they don't have enough power to just brake one axle to do the turning. Braking one axle basically doubles the speed of the opposite as well as takes a LOT of power to do so.

The Viking seeder is a VERY rare item as well that happened to be one there (also have one-fairly recent addition in the family).
