Congrats on the big blade, that'll come in very handy. The "tractor shovel" that JD sells for the x700 series converts a 54" blade to something kind of like a bucket. This may help give some ideas, of course I'm not saying it's at all compatible with your setup. Hope you get some answers and good luck. Share pics if you end up rigging something that works.

Thats bad ***!

Would this work on the older 54" blade set ups like whats on my 300? I do have the up/down and angle no problem.

seven hundred bucks? Does it have gold and diamond chips in it?
Yeah they went Up In Price ever since they Became a OEM Manufacturer for Deere But It's still less expensive Than a Johnny Bucket Sr.:thThumbsU

Hmmm you know the idea of turning it into a clamshell bucket I think would be ideal. At work with have a CAT 450E Backhoe (biggest one they make :fing32:) and we have a clamshell bucket on it. I use the clamshell feature more then anything, it saves time of just opening the jaws, plus you can just open them a bit and spread the material you have while you grade it. This might be a winter project to modify my own for this setup. Would not be difficult at all to make if you have the right tools.

I have a superior scoop I was considering parting with. But shipping might cost $$ since the parts would be heavy.
