Hey, allright! I finaly got it Justin! Woo-hoo! Well, this is the back of a IH Cub Cadet 6-12 rim. I got the set from my parts man Mike. This set is from a '61 IHCC Original I had the rims sandblasted, cleaned and sprayed in light gray primer from TSC. Sanded with 320 and scotch brite, cleaned again, and primer sealed. Then the ruddy brown primer is next. Wanted to combine 6 parts down to two. Also wanted to get on to the CC white paint too!:fing32:

Just making sure! This is only an example of parts going into storage. { Another thing that must be done in this restore project. }

Top pic = back side, and this is the front; primer sealed. I figure I'll wait 2 days to cure. Then I would like to PS the bead sides of both 6-12 rims. Scotch brite, clean, and will now be ready for the Krylon ruddy brown primer. :fing32: I will double check the inner tubes for any small leaks, and then I'll have the Carlisle Tru Power ag's mounted. Clean the ruddy brown, and finaly get to paint Cub Cadet White! In the mean time, I will be back to the gas tank and hardware, which is about ready for yellow!

Right on! Good call on protecting those valuables!
You got that right! Stuff like this will only get knicked up and dirty. After the parts are wraped, I stuff the box with newspaper. Looks ready to ship! But the project is not for sale!:fing32:

Joe it looks more like an restoration then an engine swap.
Well, I think the K241 re-power would be a nice up grade.

And painting it up is alot of fun! I believe we'll have us a nice tractor when I'am done.

I'am glad I have the time that I do for this. It's what makes punching the clock all worth while.

I'am alot farther along in this project than my viewers know. This lets me add alot of attention to every piece of the tractor.

Having everything in the spare bedroom is a +! Should be set up for a very productive weekend, and holiday! :thThumbsU

I wondered where you were taking all those pics at! You've got a nice dry, warm, clean place for curing the painted parts, which is very important. How many hours a day on average do you have to devote to the project?
Winter season is a great time for a restore. I have alot going on during the spring and summer, and that sorta makes it harder. All I need to do is keep the drive clear, and bring in the firewood, = free time!

I dont get grazy with the paint when painting stuff. I'll choose 3-4 small stuff like hardware, and paint parts in a small quantity. During the week, 1-2 hours. And on the weekends at least 5hrs saturday and sunday. But sometimes I'am too wooped, or need to walk away from it!

The hood will be taken to work, and my buddy is going to tack up the cross brace which is broke. Not untill after the holidays, though. The frame of the 72 will be painted over at my other bud's house. Tonight I plan to finish up the primer sealer on the rear rims.
