Fender Bracket

I am about to start tearing my 8N apart and start painting it. The fenders have some brackes that I think are for a sun shade. Does anyone know if these were offered as a dealer option or are they just an aftermarket add on?

Also the rear light mount on the right side is busted with half of it missing. I can only find them offered for sale as a set does anyone know of a source for singles?

i could be wrong but that tool box is in the wrong spot i believe it is suppose to be under the hood behind the dash it does look like the original though.

Thanks, I will have to look into the tool box. This is the kind of stuff I want to get sorted out now while I'm working out a plan. Here are a few shots of the tool box. It only has one mounting bolt which doesn't seem right.

Toolbox definitely does not mount on the fender as posted it is suppose to be in the battery area just ahead of the steering GB.

should be two holes in the bottom of box flat head machine screws went in box original owner did you one favor, he saved you from having to get two old flat head screws out. Mine was a pain in the but to get those screws out took me two days and a lot of patience and wd-40.

Ken, that picture helped me out although if mine ever looks as nice as yours I probably would be scared to put anything other than my lunch in it. I took mine off the fender (met828, it only took 45 secs LOL) and tried it in that position. The hole in the back and right bottom lined up perfectly with holes in the tractor.

I wish that that was my tractor, but I stole it off the internet...

Looks like I need to start searching ebay for the manuals on my tractor. I had been looking for good pictures of the Cyclone Pre-cleaner. I did not know it was an option, thought they all had it. Mine is missing the lower portion and I wasn't even sure what to look for. I told the kids it was the speaker for the cd player!
