Thats what I thought except they have highlighted will not ship to USA because it hasnt passed EPA crap.

I have been thinking about diesels since I got my tractors. There would be little trouble bringing one into Canada but how to adapt the engine to the Case pump? And what about the front PTO?
I have no trouble welding up engine mounts.

Nice engine,wow 395 to ship.just ship to canada and pick it up across the border lol.

I just might do that... LOL OK NOPE that aint happenin. I found a US model for 1600 but dang thats still kinda pricey. Considering I can get a yanamar reefer engine for less then $500. sighhhh how badly do I want it LOL

If someone on this side of the pond made a 25hp diesel engine I would buy it. But no one makes one.

How do the 10hp match up to a 16hp gasser? Also are your 10hp single or V Twins

HP is HP at the same RPM and comparing these oversquare diesel engines to oversquare flat heads are not going to be a big difference except for maybe the compression ratio. They are not long stroke diesels, the piston can only move so fast at 3600

I had a chance to drive a friends diesel swap many many years ago. It was a single cylinder swapped into an old JD GT. The thing shook your teeth out. You could feel every firing of the cylinder while it idled. The machine was like a giant paint shaker.
That said, I would like a balanced 2cyl if I ever go this route.

yes im aware a 10hp gas and 10hp diesel produce the same HP. But the torque is much more in a diesel then a gas. Thats why a 10hp diesel can put out much more power then a 10hp gas.

Thats why I asked how the 10hp diesel matched up against the 16hp gas.

After some more searching and 30,000 ebay listings I found two engines, one is basically a drop in and one is a Kubota D950 ( which require a little frame modifications )
