looks good, other than the runs in the paint... and scratches... and dirt... but other than that it came out great. haha just kidding, very nice job.:fing32:
Luckily Ryan, you are about 3 hrs away so you can't really see the dings, missed spots and chips that come from being a "green" body and paint guy. LOL! I'm going to have to pull my brothers welder out and start practicing. Come on..let's see yours all fixed up! Get going..there's no school for awhile. Ha!

Wow, that looks just beautiful, nice project.:thThumbsU Nothing like a project like this to get the friends together and get 'er done....
Thanks! Yes, I couldn't have done it without the help. It is a small project considering some guys tear apart cars and trucks and rebuild them but if your not careful these small ones could get overwhelming(sp).

That is looking great! Gives me motivation to get going on mine. the battery box was a great idea.

send me an email with pics on what you and your brother are working on. I'm always interested in stuff like that. :trink39:

Can you back up that trailer yet? Lol and I put a rear work light powered to a seperate switch on the 71

Your tractor really turned out nice.

Also the muffler looks like one for an IH Cub Cadet.

some heat resistant stove paint could make it nice. it does look like a cub muffler. were the rear of the plow has the bracket going vertical to the frame it should have another going diagonal to the front of the frame as well. i dont know if it affects performance but in my mind i think it would swing forward and back without that bracket.

I did use that vht engine paint and it didn't hold up. I'm going to need a picture of what you are talking about. I do have to get some shorter bolts and some spacers to hold it better to the frame.

i think it should have a bar like this. pretty sure it goes forward but im not 100% sure. the line does not go to a specific spot and there may not be a hole there i was just trying to show you the general idea.

Hi,

I think I agree with bmxkid that there should be a steel flat that would go up to the frame at an angle to prevent forward and back movement of the pivot point of the plow. I believe it should also go to the front of the tractor to be in tension when pushing. If it went back towards the rear of the tractor it would be in compression when pushing and would flex and possibly bend.

I didn't think of the flexing and bending makes sence that it would go forward to me now.

That turned out really well, nice job. I especially liked seeing it pull a trailer cart full of wood.:fing32:

According to this, your first picture is correct.
