So I went into the local John Deere dealer today to get the deck lift spring for the X520. The guy behind the parts counter said to me "man you've been coming in here since you was a little guy". "I remember seeing you in here since you was a little kid" This is true. I have been coming to this dealer since I was 4 or 5 years old. How many other places treat their customers like this. This made my day.

My Deere dealer Knows when I come In There Small engine service Dept won't Get any work done while I'm There Because I'm To Busy shooting the breeze with Them. The dealers about 60 Miles away. Don't Know My Local Dealer very well & The One where I grew Up By I try to avoid like the Plague They have had the worst service & Parts Dept In the area at Least for the last 33 Years started Going there at age 14. I guess the Parts Dept there isn't so Bad if one of the owners is working the Parts Counter. I use to stop in there when I would vist the folks That about 30miles away now. So I don't even Bother Going to that dealer even If I need Parts For my Parents Deere.
But it is nice when some one Recognizes You patronage of there establishment for so Long:thThumbsU

The other dealer in the area is not the best. Plus I have always been treated well at this dealer.

Well I got my first John Deere that ran when I was 14. But for years I would go to the dealer ship and buy diecast models and get the latest equipment brochure's.

Somebody was living the life!

I don't have a Deere Dealer near me, grew up farm boy in the suburbs, but my father was a IH guy so Me having a Deere is a common "Dark side" joke.

My local mower shop knows me by name, since I am in there at least once a month. One of the guys doesn't like me for no good reason other than I know to much, and ask to many questions, but the other guys are good guys, and hold parts for me and such. It's nice to be part of a family outside the family.

my dealer treats me like family now. my grandfather started buying equipment way back and now im the third generation coming to them for parts. their great and always treat me well

ive been going to my repair shop for 10 years and they gave me a job

My local dealer is my cousin so I am part of the family! However I ask for no deals and they don't give me any, just another customer to them! I do get to see the whole store though and when they get some new gadget I get to check it out, so I can't complain! Very good service department and has a good sales team too!

I wish I worked at a Deere Dealer. I absorb stats, and could sell a tractor to someone with a town house if I wanted to, but I wouldn't:thThumbsU

I have two JD dealers not to far from home, one is about 20 miles away and the other is about 30 miles.
Yesterday I wanted an item and called my closest dealer and he didn't have it but could get it in two day, the other dealership had the item and it was $2.30 more. So I went to the second one and got the item but I ask the counter man why the price difference. He ask me how much the other place wanted and I told him. He went ahead and rang the sale up and gave me the discount of the price difference. I though that was real nice for he didn't have to do that and he gave me no explanation of why the price difference.
The dealer that is the farthest away has the heaviest traffic to get there. But both dealers have treated me like I expect to be treated.

I have a great dealer. When I bought my LA125 used, the deal was "as traded". When I came back to pick it up and pay, thay had cleaned and polished it so it shone like new, and there was a new spindle sitting on the seat to replace the worn one the dealer and I noticed when I was checking it out. They put me on auto-discount for my parts. All this without me asking. I couldn't believe it, I guess they want my business, and want me to tell all my friends
