I woke up this morning to a wicked hangover (Work party last night) and a fresh snowfall. I always like the first snowfall of the year!

Oh boy----just took the 62" MMM off and pressure washed and painted & oiled it. Better get the blower greased & ready:thThumbsU

Geeeeeee!! I like the first one to you normally don't have to do anything it justs melts.
I'm going to hook up a vac for my mmm that my son in law sent me yesterday..
His neighbor gave it to him and he had no need for it so he gave it to me.. Looks like it was never used,,If it was very little.

Beautiful, hopefully ours isn't too far off.

Please, not until I get the 10 tons of graded base in the pot holes in the driveway!

Whew, man y'all boys in REAL snow country amaze me! I just can't take the cold - unless, that is, I am in the woods hunting! Down here in the deep south, 1/2" or so will close schools and much work. I know, hard for y'all to imagine, but true. I guess if I lived in snow country, I might like it, but for here, I just do not like to see it snow even the one inch or so. Now, it is beautiful to look at in your photos, so keep them snow shots coming! That is pretty.

It is mostly melted now. But by the end of november it should be hanging around till spring. This was a little earlier than most years,..but hey,..look at the bright side. In "Snow Country" as you called it we don't have snakes and spiders that can kill you :)

Ahhhh, my eyes, my eyes!:Stop:

Ya, but you have bears:biglaugh:
But i hibernate during the winter...

THought i would say it before someone else did...

Southern Alberta got more then up near Edmonton, i went thought Water Valley and down to Banff that night and it was crappy out on the roads.. driving snow so hard it was difficult to see far down the road..

BUT its nice out here in Vernon.. :trink39:

Man, Team, I am glad you do hibernate! Wouldn't want to run into that in the dark! This is how I would look: :Stop:

Yep, we have the critters here alright, snakes, ticks, chiggers, all kinds of things that want to bite, eat, and otherwise get under your hide. Oh well, guess that's the price we pay for warmth.

chiggers are little, bugs that like ticks eat blood. they look a little like a zit when they get under your skin.

Yep, chiggers (we call them redbugs) itch worse than anything I have ever been bitten by. Little devils actually burrow under your hide, really can't see them with your eyes, turn red and ITCH for about a week. And, they like to get in the most inopportune places. That are embarrassing to scratch. Can't sit on ground, brush against weeds, logs, etc. before first frost. Snow - nah, no chigs.

After crawling onto their host, they inject digestive enzymes into the skin that break down skin cells. They do not actually "bite," but instead form a hole in the skin called a stylostome and chew up tiny parts of the inner skin, thus causing severe irritation and swelling. The severe itching is accompanied by red pimple-like bumps (papules) or hives and skin rash or lesions on a sun-exposed area. For humans, itching usually occurs after the larvae detach from the skin.[8]

All I have to say is thanks alot. We were quite happy with our +15 temps here and we went from that to the Trans Canada being closed last night and it won't reopen till later this morning. Took one person 7 hrs to go from Regina to Moose Jaw (abt 65km) although one has to wonder why they did it in the first place. I had to break out the big ol dodge to come to work this morning.
